Meet up with a friend at one of Niantic's Wayspots and document your journey by taking pictures and capturing objects around you. Once you arrive at your meetup destination, share your adventure with your friends and tell your story! Remember: The Journey is the Destination.

"The Journey is the Destination" emphasizes meeting friends outdoors and encourages you to engage more deeply with your surroundings.

Your goal is to meet your friends at one of Niantic's Lightship Waypoints and capture all the interesting things you encounter along the way. You can take pictures of beautiful places or capture unique objects—it’s up to you to decide what you find most interesting on your journey.

Once you and your friends arrive at the Wayspot, use the "Storyboard," a 3D user interface visible in your Augmented Reality view, to tell your friends about your adventure.

This app aims to encourage exploration of new places, social interactions with friends, and a deeper appreciation of your surroundings.
